CropView launch meets with enthusiastic response
Another great success at this year's Horti Fair was the launch of HortiMaX CropView, our latest glasshouse solution, which was nominated for the prestigious Horti Fair Innovation Award 2010. HortiMaX CropView allows you to monitor your crop plants 24 hours a day with high-resolution images, making it a remarkable innovation in observing and fine-tuning your crop's development. The CropView camera takes both overall and detailed photes of your crop plants and stores these, enabling you to view current and past images of your plants’ responses. Nothing escapes the camera’s zoom lens. Even condensation (encouraging fungal growth), pollen or minute differences in flowering or stem length (crucial in rose production) are captured in perfect detail and can be analysed and corrected using constantly updated graphs that run synchronously with the images of your crop. CropView even allows you to play the images forward or backward (at the desired zoom level) in rapid succession, providing a film-like impression of your plants’ responses.

That the jury was justified in nominating CropView was apparent from the immense interest that our demonstration generated during the Horti Fair. Numerous customers and consultants visited the HortiMaX stand to find out how the graphs, photos and easy controls worked. The Duijvestijn brothers, Dutch tomato growers, were immediately impressed by CropView at the fair and were actually the first to buy this innovative system.
